Disconnect of community and believing big brother will take care of you.

That and I don't know about you, but I don't have a hose anywhere near the size to fit on a hydrant... maybe I should pick one up...

I am thinking hoses and water from bathtubs in buckets. Make a fire block soaked in water. But yeah its insane that people are willing to abandon everything and that one of the most populous states is relying on big brother.

When these people have been pampered their whole lives, it is unrealistic to expect them to pick up the actual work required. They literally don’t know how to physically save themselves, and to me it’s hilariousky pathetic.

Fire departments do a nice job when they're ready to go, and a burning home is close by. Otherwise, all they can do is control the spread of the fire, in a very messy way. For big jobs, like high rises and forest fires, they're never prepared and possibly can't be without a huge expansion of services.
