Well two things on that one I don’t believe we are flawed in the way that most Christians do. I also don’t generally accept the eternal punishment part for human beings. I think it’s much more likely a system we either don’t or can’t understand. Honestly I don’t have it all worked out I wish I did, but I think the people going around acting as if they have perfect knowledge of this thousands of years old text is ludicrou. My understanding from everything I’ve studied and I know many would disagree with me but it is the oldest record man has, I’ve seen arguments about the epic of Gilgamesh and all that but in general it appears to borrow from the Old Testament, and the whole Tower of Babel thing I could go on and on and probably just look like a raving lunatic but it’s what I choose to believe and I don’t ask anyone else to believe.
I am asking from a human rationalist standpoint. Why would you create a program called life then dictate that it not follow that programming? The tower of babel is an allegory for alien intervention in my mind.
Well the Tower of Babel that’s a whole other conversation careful or I’ll end up rambling again. I’m of the opinion the program is running exactly as expected, deep learning algorithms fuck up the given task sometimes millions of times before they get the desired outcome. I look at humanity a lot like that as to why we were created no clue, but what’s humanity is doing is learning and growing. Learning to do what also don’t know but it’s the only thing that makes sense to me.
And the horrible/disgusting aspects of human nature are us just learning about ourselves? Nuke that program then. If virtue is a cherished trait because of its scarcity that says all I need to know about us. Babel about Babel dude. Post a babel
