Well the Tower of Babel that’s a whole other conversation careful or I’ll end up rambling again. I’m of the opinion the program is running exactly as expected, deep learning algorithms fuck up the given task sometimes millions of times before they get the desired outcome. I look at humanity a lot like that as to why we were created no clue, but what’s humanity is doing is learning and growing. Learning to do what also don’t know but it’s the only thing that makes sense to me.
And the horrible/disgusting aspects of human nature are us just learning about ourselves? Nuke that program then. If virtue is a cherished trait because of its scarcity that says all I need to know about us. Babel about Babel dude. Post a babel
Well you also have to accept that things have been introduced to this program that were never intended to be here. So it gets complicated, say you had a flawed program that had a 10% chance of curing cancer, and a 90% chance of blowing up your entire network, you spent 10 years writing it. Do you let it run or throw it away and start over? I say let it run I can rebuild the network.
Devil/evil analogy? I equate it to my hand is rotting, I hope I can save a finger but it is prudent to cut the whole hand off.
