Id wager that most of the elderly masons from small towns, have no idea what theyre in. it used to be a status and community ordeal, sort of like joining a country club in order to keep up with the jones's. How many have actually read "morals and dogma" by albert pike? How many have actually made it into the upper echelons? Even if you were to educate them, would they want to admit to themselves how theyve been duped into such an organization?
