If the goal is to encourage their suicides, then what you describe is a win-win. But I sort of agree that rescuing these people from their delusions would be the best way to go. But unfortunately that is illegal in many states and will get you fired and sued in every state, if they work with you. So maybe just passively encourage their suicide, since that's not illegal, but trying to help them is.
