So I was at my mechanics shop attempting to wrench on the wife’s car(I say attempting because that inner tie rod isn’t fucking moving so new rack it is) and they asked me if I could help around the shop and they would pay me. I said fuck it why not so I guess I’m a mechanic now.

except its usually 2 wires that shut off one bus if the resistance changes, and they run those fuckers underneath the car with the brake lines a lot.

Yes, they don’t use the chassis as a ground for sensors because the shitty scrap metal they nowadays use to build cars creates a resistance that could mess with the precision of the sensors.

true, it always has to be 60ohms if my memory serves.
