Apparently it’s a noir type show starting in 1929 Germany during the Weimar period. Apparently it shows the degeneracy and decay and such. I’ve seen the first episode and it seems like it might be good, has anyone seen it? I don’t want to waste time watching it if it ends up trying to show the degeneracy was a good thing and stuff. It’s in German on Netflix.

Well, it's on Netflix, so don't expect much.

The first season was very good, I fell in love with the little slut lead. Second season okay. Third season, not so much. As usual, success ruined it. See also 'Peaky Blinders'.

TIP: watch it in German, with English subtitles.
