I watched the first season and I thought it was pretty good. Compare and contrast the old, STNG in particular, where the relationships aren't just interracial, they're inter-species ... and they reproduce! How believable is that? An exoskeletal dude bangs a white chick and now they are expecting? BTW, I thought I blocked you.
