theres alot of cactus dishes ive never tried. the beavertail that grows by our house would be good for it but it has an infection, every spikey node is producing some kind of white vile fluffy stuff, and the hedge is huge, i dont have the stamina or trash space to do it myself

lol, no, barrel cactus, saguaro and other cactus that take forever to grow are protected and you can go to jail for defiling them. Other cactus like beavertail are grown and harvested almost like a crop in some places, but alot of people just have decorative beavertail they use as food. Its not uncommon to see beavertail cactus for sale in the store
