There probably are some true blue hillbillies left but for the most part, people in rural Appalachia are similar to people in other parts of rural America: Impoverished, obese, and reliant on food stamps. They are spoon-fed zionist ideals from Fox News, whatever "based" social media influencers they follow, and the local (((church))).
The South of the past two centuries is nothing like the present day south.
