Not learned today, but this week. Went to colonial Williamsburg and Yorktown. Read that GW actually fired the first American shot (lit the fuse on a cannon) at the seige of Yorktown that killed a british officer and wounded a couple more while they were eating dinner. Always just pictured him pointing his sword at shit and telling people where to go and stuff... pretty cool.

Everything you have been told is a lie, including details about the revolution. Do you really think the British army was so inept that a rag-tag band of rebels (3% of the population of the colonies) out-gunned, out-smarted and out-maneuvered the finest army in the world? GW was a British officer. Related to the current British monarchs. Was he controlled opposition or rebelling against his heritage?
