Yeah I plan on requesting it be done by his mother, once she is allowed some time to grieve. At the moment I think it would be a little much for her. She was very pro-vax so it might be difficult for her to accept.

Sometimes waiting is the best approach, if ya say it then you become someone to attack. If you say nothing itll just eat at her til she realizes you were right.
Does she have other children? If so, I hope for their sake she wakes the hell up. She might live her life in denial but she knows. They will be lucky to stay married. Losing a child can do this and especially if caused by a parent albeit unintended consequences.
