I concur at some point this whole ignoring the elephant in the room for fear of offending someone over the death of their loved one or breaking employment policy is super fcking pussified. I mean would we not say how fcking stupid someones kid was if they were always out street racing while drunk or engaged in armed home invasions and then surprised when a homeowner blows them away ?? Nah, we would be like 'thats unfortunate but what a dumbass kid' - same scenario here except the parents are the most guilty and responsible.
