I call that shit "bubblegum country" nowadays.. it's written by the same fucks who write the psychologically catchy pop songs. They remove the pop synth and female vocals and slap on some twangy guitar and a male vocalist and call it a day. Utter garbage. When I say I like country, Im almost exclusively referring to old music.
