Did anybody here think that teachers are smart? Anybody? Communism is a dead religion but teachers form unions to keep it alive.
In public school They are as smart as their students. any parent with brains have their children in a charter, private or best yet homeschool

That’s how my husband grew up. Wonderful experience for him; he learned in a safe, drama-free environment. But it also means he’s got a huge blind spot where other groups of people are concerned. It wasn’t until I started telling him my stories about getting attacked in the locker room by the Mexicans for being white, or what ESL did to our public school programs, that he ever thought about questioning his assumptions.
If I had a choice for our children, I prefer what he had. But at the same time, with increased safety comes lessened awareness of danger.

Teaching can be a good gig for a bright, creative person. Like someone who writes novels or restores boats over the summer needs a steady paycheck. They can make great teachers. But most teachers are idiots looking for a job they can't get fired from.

Teachers used to be the best and brightest women because it was a women's profession that was respected and allowed them to take time off to also be mothers. Then feminists told girls that being a teacher was a demeaning job so only the least ambitious and creative women went into it. That's why Marxist ideology has become the curriculum - today's teachers are dumb and compliant to their masters in unions, the Dem party and Marxist professors.
It doesn't help that the west has copied the Prussian system to produce obedient factory workers.
heavily depends on your location. i was lucky to have parents that wanted their kids to grow up in small town midwest. i’ll admit for the most part i had really smart teachers. especially my politics teacher, guy was based af.
