It's my first read/listen. I downloaded it onto my phone, I'm about 2 hours in. I'm really liking it so far.
Only 45 min in right now. It's very reminiscent of factual recollections of surviving the USSR like Execution by Hunger.
Just finished it myself. Luckily, I work from home most days and could freely listen to it.
Did you finish yet?
I'm a little over the halfway mark.
It's crazy how well he predicts social attitudes and liberal/race appeasement.
The part where he talks about the ammonium nitrate, made me think Timothy McVeigh.
I just got home and I looked up McVeigh's Wiki page...
McVeigh frequently quoted and alluded to the white supremacist novel The Turner Diaries; he claimed to appreciate its interest in firearms. Photocopies of pages sixty-one and sixty-two of The Turner Diaries were found in an envelope inside McVeigh's car. These pages depicted a fictitious mortar attack upon the U.S. Capitol in Washington.[101]
*I wonder which pages those are.
