And how the fuck do you hide dirt from a 300 meter Tunnel? Ok, the tunnel is only 60cm wide and probably 1m tall, but you still get a volume of 180000 liters of dirt... Good luck hiding this in walls and under beds...

No ventilation. Working for a couple of month in a small not ventilated underground tunnel is going to give you exposure to stuff like radon. Warsaw only has a moderate to low radon level (200 Bq/m³) but the exposure and buildup over time (WL) is a problem.
Working with spoons. They probably had only tin spoons but even if they had hard metal spoons then they would break them after a couple of hours.You need to move 180000 liters of dirt with spoons...
