I have made it a personal mission to acquire as many old books as I can, in order to maintain true knowledge and hopefully prevent those in my orbit from slipping further into ignorance. Marxism, feminism, Zionism and any and all subjects by which those commune with, ARE complete trash, and ARE a danger to the overall decency of the young and impressionable, as well as the old and the lost. They were right to burn them. In this day and age it would be seen as suppression of information and a sin against liberty, but I believe that in those times, it had to be done to prevent a knee-jerk reaction.
Some things are just too evil to speak of.
Warping the natural roles of gender, mutilating genitalia to defy the creator, stifling the growth of your fellow man due to jealousy, and world domination are all subjects that should have all traces annihilated. Perhaps controlled release with explanations on why these things cause evil, nothing more.
Another thing to consider, is that even with vivid explanations as to how and why a thing is evil, it can incite within a weak minded person the desire to rebel, and seek a twisted form of "superiority". For the greater good of the people, those individuals need to be saved from themselves, and properly guided until they become strong enough mentally, and spiritually to say no to ignorant and detrimental impulses. Of course, at some point, the line must be drawn to separate the weak and misguided from the mentally ill.
