I'm on a massive music creation adventure. Throughout all of 2024 I have been working on a 30 song concept album (really a triple album). I have 29 of them done. There are three additional albums that branch off the concept and each will have 15 songs. That's 75 songs for the entire collected work. I have 12 songs towards the first offshoot album and I just finished the latest track last night. I will have to come back after all the music is done and add storyline narration, but that's far less fun than making the music. Hopefully I can wrap it all up by mid-2025.
I'm intrigued. What's the concept?

The main album called Hard Times (30 songs + narration between songs) is the story we are currently living in. The (((monsters))) who live in the shadows and pervert every aspect of our lives and are hell-bent on our destruction create the hard times we live in. The story goes from the recent past, on through our present and then into a possible future. The (((monsters))) make some grave mistakes along the way and we find a turning point that leads to their downfall. The related albums split off into different future outcomes that are the results of what we learned or didn't learn from having the (((monsters))) among us.
The Year 2091 album I am close to finishing is the future where the damage was too great and people split into different factions based on where they make their homes. It's less about nations, races or every cultural identities but instead we are split on how we choose to live. There are 11 distinct factions and two alternative affiliations that people are divided amongst. They are all collectively stunted and fail to progress because they have no real identities. They are Earthbound and will likely stay that way.
The other two albums tell different futures with one of them, Postcards From Mars, being a triumphant push beyond our existence on Earth. The other album is still being conceived so I'm not sure where it will go exactly. I've still got at least 30+ songs to create before the complete concept is realized. It's been a fun journey so far.
