I'm sure it's got some great capabilities and fills a much needed place in the music hardware connectivity world, but I am a collector of vintage synths and other music gear so I will always have a special place in my heart for old school 5-pin DIN MIDI 1.0 hardware. I love the hardware and I buy all the broken/needs repair gear I can get so I can rescue them and keep them alive. Plugins and DAWs just don't do it for me.
Check out Doremidi's products. It's an easy and affordable way to bring Wireless MIDI to MIDI capable vintage instruments without having to do some hardware modifications.
Cool, I'll check it out. I don't have any wireless MIDI devices right now, but this might be a way to combine some new gear with my old gear in a functional way.
Got one to sync my synth app on my phone with my full sized midi keyboard, works amazingly well.
Latency is amazingly low enough (especially in high-speed mode - Bluetooth 5.0 LE) that I can hardly tell from the wired version.
