It will be a while before I have the MC-909 in my hands, but I wanted to see if any others have experience with the 909 or its smaller siblings. It was kind of an impulse buy as I shopped around MC series groove boxes after seeing the MC-303 repair video below. I like the interface of the 909 in that I am already somewhat familiar with it from other Roland hardware, but I've not dealt with a beast like this one before so any advice or experiences would help.

I'm more a vintage gear kind of guy, but the Behringer remakes are certainly appealing. I like the challenge of keeping an old bit of kit working and thumbing my nose at the software synth/DAW world. Nothing feels and sounds quite like real hardware. I've not looked into getting any Elektron gear, but I'm always willing to give various gear a shot if I can get it at a reasonable price and it is in need of repair.

Yeah, I have the Behringer minimoog clone, model D. It sounds really good. Here is a comparison: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYxc8R_Qys0
