What a great read. As iconic and legendary as Willie's Trigger, or Hendrix's Stratocasters, or Page's Les Pauls. Emerson and The Beast did more to bring synths into Rock and more extensively than anyone before or after. It is fitting to be given this home and to still be played.
I hope more great and famous instruments find good homes like this. Some go to museums, others to private collectors and still others get destroyed. It's a shame when the latter is their fate. Where will Eddie's guitars go? How about Neil's fantastic drum kit? Will Vangelis' custom studio setup and synths be preserved? There are so many instruments I fear will be lost if we don't have people and organizations like this to help keep them and the spirit of Rock alive and well.
