Serious questions: How much of a hassle is water and sewage? How many batteries are on board? Curious about electric use if the engine isn't running.

In my experience, sewage is no problem. They just dump their holding tank on the street right in front of our house.

Shitters full!

Some homeless van fucks totally really did this, though. We ran those losers the fuck out. Those creatures give hypothetical decent camper types a bum rap, I guess.

There was this other loser who asked if it was okay to park there for awhile and because of that I was cool with him, but he didn't dump sewage.

But the other neighbors ran him off. I felt bad for that guy, he was sort 9f okay, in a tragic burnout way. But for the grace of God, I thought...

Great questions.

First, there are 2 options for water. Most RV's will have a fresh water holding tank. Ours is 65 gallons and is run by an electric water pump that will run on 12v or 120v. The other water option is hooking up to a water supply directly to your units water system via a water hose (like a garden hose without the bad taste).

Sewage.. All RV's will have what is called a "black tank" that holds all toilet wastes. This tank can be connected directly to a sewer system at your campsite via a flexible, collapsible sewer waste hose. This is something you provide and store in your camper. If you find yourself at a campsite without a sewer connection you have to store it in your black tank until you leave. Most campgrounds that don't have sewer connections at you site will have "dump station" at the exit from the campground. We can go about 2 weeks for 2 of us. Keep in mind most campgrounds have toilet area so use them as often as possible.

Batteries.. Our system is 2 12v baterries daisy chained. It will last us a few days without charging. We have converted all lights to LED bulbs and our fridge will run on propane. Our vehicle will charge the batteries when running and connected. Some people will go all out with solar panels and a bank of multiple batteries.

Hope that answers your questions.

That's an excellent answer. Thank you for throwing down.
