I figured if we had a place just to post Stormer articles then you'd be able to be alerted if a link you were posting was already submitted (Poal alerts you as long as it's in the sub).

For a while I was taking pic8 webshots of every article in case of a shoah. But it's hard to keep up on. I need to make a derram-style bot.

The additional benefit might be drawing attention to the more niche subs, since a lot of the repeat urls are going to come from the bigger subs that get the highest volume of posts.

For example, someone might post a political article about Hawaii to , and then get the message alerting them it's already been posted to . If they didn't know that sub existed, they'd get a great suggestion to a sub that interests them, and it'd all just be baked into how Poal works.

One caution: I think users should still be able to opt NOT to crosspost if they don't want to. Muh freedums

We are and will always give the choice to users. (e.g the new pic8 url/upload feature)
