Man, not feeling it. I don't agree with the conservatives who use the argument, 'But what about all those that already paid their loans off?' That's a shitty and retarded argument.

The argument SHOULD be, "This is a bandaid and the same exact debt will be back in 5-7 years due to the runaway exponential increase in costs for post-secondary education." But that would require conservatives actually be educated about the issue instead of regurgitating retarded talking points.

The cartoon acts like a cure has just been discovered that didn't exist before.

The reality is Biden just declared students won't have to pay back all of the money they borrowed, because he's going to make everyone else pay it off for them.

I can't speak for everyone, but when they say it's not fair, it's generally not just that they don't like seeing a new solution that didn't exist before. It's that they think it's unfair because they're letting some people buy what they can't afford at the expense of those who were more responsible.

As you say, this isn't a long term solution. It's not making college more accessible in the long run. Conservatives are aware of that. Of course they're indignant at politicians bribing their target base at the expense of others without any real benefit to the nation.

Good point. I didn't think of it that way, before. Thanks for the education.
