Maybe the metaphor would be apt if the "cure" for cancer required you to extract the pineal gland of a healthy living human. Because if this is a metaphor for the student loans then it's akin to requiring a healthy person to die in order to alleviate the illness of a sick person.

That's not how the left wing thinks though. When you read their cartoons you get to see their version of reality. It's pretty funny, but not for the reason they want.
