POAL. Not - post lol

Sorry people. I flew for 40 years. Around the world so many times that I cannot count. I never ever saw a “ufo” I so wanted too.

I learned the difference between something unidentifiable and something unknown. I knew about the foo fighters. As a crew and as an individual I saw so many amazing things. Hurricanes, Tornados, northern lights, lightning in all its possible forms to include ball lightning moving slowly through my aircraft. So slow that we began to tease each other “dude! Your mother just died she’s sending a message! You’re fat and ugly your mother just told me!” She’s sending you a message. Followed by you touch it, no you touch it! I was the idiot once “DO NOT TOUCH IT” ouch.

Yeah, ball lightning is both an amazing and fearful thing.

Most of my experiences were military aircraft that weren't yet released to the public knowledge, or may still not be. The only one I still can't figure out was two lights connected by another bar of light. Perhaps some wing aircraft that was being tested but didn't make the grade.

Did you touch it? I did. It was over the Indian Ocean on a flight out of Diego Garcia. It was a medevac flight to the Philippines. We had a doctor on board and several hot USAF nurses. I was willing to go into cardiac arrest just to get CPR from one of those hotties. I know, today would be a different story. I was young dumb single and on my way to the Philippines, YES!

No, this was certainly an aircraft, it was high in the sky. Where my folks used to live was in the flight path of both military and civilian aircraft, it wasn't uncommon to see stealth fighters from WPAFB, C-130 flights just barely scraping the trees, and medivac flights.

It's really hard to tell what Uncle was flying over while the cold war still raged.
