link seems to be broken. But I gotta know, what happens?
Video describes the translation process by three anonymous academics who detail a Sumerian scribes' account of the process of what happens during death and the comparison to what today is known as a "near death experience".
Essentilly in the moments immediately after death consciousness is given a choice; either to go towards the light or refuse it. The light is the holy consciousness. The almighty infinite, pure, and ethereal that the scribe referred to as "going home". Whereas the opposite, when given the choice to go into the light or not, if there is a refusal by the consciousness to go towards the light, this then sends the soul back to earth as a vessel, not a body, like a ghost of sorts.
The story arcs into a tale of "the end times will come when there are more ghosts on earth than there are souls in heaven," or home, so to speak. And that the ego of man is increasing to the point where we value our selves more than what is holy, so more and more people are choosing to refuse the light in this crucial moment, and thus we are bringing about the end times by refusing the holy consciousness upon death.
If it's true and the translation is legitimate, then at the very least it's an interesting story which if written over 5000 years ago is worthy of some appreciation. Likelihood is that a priest took some high grade hallucinogens and saw God and this gave him an answer. Although this doesn't discredit the story, the scripture does feel in some ways more akin to a bad trip then anything else.
I do love me some otherworldly speculation though.
I once saw a video that said the light is the devil trying to lure souls away from Heavens Gate and that you should avoid the light.
Fun fact: Nobody knows.
You’re not missing anything, it’s just AI slop generated from Zecharia sitchin‘s mistranslations and manufacturing of Sumerian texts.
Right on. I wish there was a "Reject AI Content“ button on YT. I don't want to see that shit.
Yes! In fact I’d like a ‘reject AI’ option on life with an automatic discount on electricity, water, and RAM!
