Fuck Stonehenge. Who built the megaliths? **\*edit:** just read the article, to their credit: they do mention them. That's where all of my current curiosity lies, when it comes to this type of stuff. That's definitely an oversimplified explanation, at the bottom, of the "mundane" answer. Stonehenge lines up too perfectly with a lot of astronomical activity for it to simply have been a childish altar. Whoever built it, at the very least, had a map of the stars and their movement during the solstices.
