I think the goal is to make satan equal to god.
Then to further sell their religion they claim that satan makes his followers equal to him, and by extension equal to god, ergo following satan will make you a god.
That's the basis of humanism same deal
I don't know about that. Humanism is very poorly defined and seems to me to be nothing more than atheism with a bunch of platitudes about improving himanity through science. While the idea is that we control our own destiny and gain power through knowledge, there is no supernatural component.
Arrogance is the reason why it is self-idolatry.
I don't care if the atheist believes there is no spiritual component. There is. We all have the spark of God inside of us whether you believe it or not doesn't make it more or less true.
Unless you subscribe to that other humanist idea of "my truth and your truth." There is only one truth.
And through science? Science without God is the epitomy of self-worship. Doesn't matter if the practitioners of the self worship think it is not. It is.
