It only held 5 people and I think only one employee was on board. There are lots of other employees at that company.
Probably don't want to volunteer anything that they can be trolled for. Anything that they say can easily be turned into an attack against them.
hmmm,, I dunno, some acknowledgement? Sub is lost, we're looking for it frantically, pray for our people..... something would be appropriate. Especially if they know its gone, some tribute would be appropriate.
Then they would have to hear "you pieces of shit sent a submarine that was basically made out of Lego down to the bottom of the ocean, 5 people lost their lives and all you can say is sorry?". That is a tame example of what would be said to them.
