The size of that neck looks like it is a creature that attacks mainly by biting, like a dog. While the limbs lack muscle mass, and don't look long proportional to its body, they are almost certainly longer than our limbs and would have a mechanical advantage over our shorter but stronger limbs.

I didn't say that clearly enough. Proportionally less muscle than a strong man. If it is 8-10 feet tall, then their arm is probably bigger than the legs of most men. If that is the case, and they have much longer limbs than us, fighting it hand to hand would be a huge disadvantage for us.
