I had a $300 phone from last year and tried to take a picture of a plane and it came out about as shit as this is. Most of them used cheap sensors, until you get up into the $700-1000 range on the phone price.

The point is, unless you're spending a lot on a phone, the camera sensors are garbage even in modern phones, and that's why it seems like none of these pictures ever improve.
