I'm convinced they live in a parallel astral earth, and us fucking around with nukes messes with the magnetism they use to travel around.
I'm also certain the astral is a 4D space, so they can see time in a non linear fashion - hence how mediums can receive information from astral beings, or ascended souls giving information 'from the future'
So if they can see into the future, it means they're materializing and showing themselves outside of their orbs/anti gravity fields to warn us. They're being seen in Ukraine, and around the Yucatan.
