Metal doesn't turn to stone from lack of oxygen. It's a tank that's covered in soil.

[–] 2 pts

Yeah, but it identifies as a fossil, now. It's just trying to look more like it's inner self.

This tank was found in Norway and is currently covered in mud. It was later fully excavated and donated to Norway.

Please do the absolute minimum amount of research before posting things like this.

Edit: concrete, not mud.

LOL Good luck with that. Ask him about the moon landings.

I was going to suggest it was covered with concrete as a "destroy before leaving" measure. But it's probably just packed with mud.

Looks like, according to the article, they were covered with concrete.

[–] 1 pt

You're correct, I was wrong in my summary of the article. Though I think the point stands, concrete or mud, that this isn't a fossilized tank.

[–] 0 pt (edited )

Nowhere in the article does it mention it was covered in mud. It specifically says:

After several years of being withdrawn from active service, 3 copies of tanks PzKpfw III was converted from fixed shelters at the airport in Bardufoss. Were poured over them tens of tons of concrete. They remained forgotten, when they were discovered under a thick layer of concrete. This tank was transferred from Norway to Poland in September 2013. This year, the restoration process has started.

It is also rusted much more than other unearthed WW2 era tanks https://pic8.co/sh/7bF8zR.png

I love how you are being snarky over this too. Goes to show how defensive you are over this subject, acting like an obscure website that took you half an hour to find is "absolute minimum amount of research"

[–] 3 pts

Apologies, you're correct it is covered in concrete, but the point still stands. If you want this image to prove that there's a secret conspiracy to hide 'the true nature of lretification' go ahead.

All to had to do was Google 'panzer 4 excavated' and in about 2 minutes found the above website.

[–] 1 pt

That's the entire point of this sub lol nothing but a bit of harmless fun

[–] 0 pt

which is interesting as it is a Pz III.

It was covered in concrete which will cause steel to corrode faster because of the nature of galvanism.

[–] 2 pts

And because concrete contains water in it too I guess. Thanks for not just saying "its mud REE"

It was not uncommon to cement tanks into the ground to use them as stationary guns. Notice how the turret was not covered. Simple History has a video on this: "Why were tanks cemented into the ground?"

[–] 0 pt

Yeah. I don't remember if it said in the article I linked or another one but somewhere I read that the tank specifically was 'buried as a bunker'.

Caked mud is not stone

[–] 1 pt

https://pic8.co/sh/7bF8zR.png this is an unearthed ww2 tank caked in mud

Not all mud is organic-rich peat muck. Chalky road near my house is as hard as concrete in dry weather but the consistency of sticky pudding with the slightest rain. This is mud.

This is very interesting. Thanks for discovering this and sharing it! I think this could change many concepts and ideas we have about ancient timelines and I would like to see something like this compared with carbon dating in order to verify or nullify that dating theory. It also reminds me of all of the mountains that look like a part of a giants body, we see many mountains that look like giant faces, your discovery allows me to see the possibility that they were living beings at one point.

There was extensive study done after Mt St Helens erupted revealing that not only were dating tools completely flummoxed by seismic activity, but that production of “fossil fuels” like coal took fewer than two years under volcanic conditions.

Mammoth Caves had signage up years ago telling visitors that stalactites and stalagmites formed at a rate reflective of “millions of years.” The cave formations in question ended up growing so quickly that the signs were removed altogether so as not to undermine the false geologic age narratives.

Didn't the same thing happen at Glacier National Park? In the 90s the park put up signs saying how fast the glaciers were melting and would be gone or so much smaller in the next decade or so, but quietly removed them when they didn't shrink.

Such difficulty being proved wrong, as oppossed to maybe correcting the record, and showing learning as an active thing.

Mud? This is clearly alien technology.

The nazis really gassed 6 billion jews too.

Super camouflage activated.

It does take a long time for things to turn into fossils or to actually become petrified. Here is a "well" that sells "petrified" teddy bears.

https://www.amusingplanet.com/2015/08/the-petrifying-well-of-knaresborough.html?m=1

Worthy of its own post here.

Eventually, scientific analysis of the water revealed the magic behind the petrification process. The water has high mineral content that precipitates over objects creating a hard shell of mineral over it in much the same way as stalactites and stalagmites form in a cave. What’s amazing, however, is the speed at which petrification occurred. Rather than centuries, small toys like teddy bears can petrify in just three to five months. Teddy bears are popular because they are porous which allows water to soak in and petrify the toy inside out. Other have left personal items such as rings and clothing, kitchen utensils, and even a bicycle.

Looks like heavy aluminum corrosion, or a metal fire. The problem with the metal fire is that those create their own oxygen and are hard to burn themselves out. The problem with heavy aluminum corrosion, is what would corrode it that fast?

It would be interesting to see tests conducted on this tank.

Reverse image search pegs the earliest copy to this website http://armchairgeneral.com/panzer-tanks-found-in-norway.htm

Although it looks like all of the images have been scrubbed.

Here in North Carolina, I'm not sure what the pH of the soil is, but I've seen a Chrysler 727 Torque-Flite set on the ground for about 7 years and the soil had eaten completely through the case so you could see the clutch packs and bands inside. Also, metals don't "create their own oxygen" unless you're making components out of unrefined ore.

Also, metals don't "create their own oxygen"

Military grade and aviation grade alloys do. Pray you never see class delta fire. It's why aircraft carriers have bulldozers, and why you see them jettison aircraft during the forestall incident.

Some metals will burn quite vigorously, but they're using atmospheric oxygen. That's why they keep lab samples submerged in kerosene, to keep the oxygen away.

Wait till you find out dinosaurs are not real

[–] 0 pt

I thought the evil nazis rode dinosaurs into battle?

[–] 0 pt

I wish they would have won and America would be 93% white still and there would be no cathedrals being burned down and no rape gangs made of Muslim arabs<<< not fucking Asians

I mean come on all these Japanese raping women

[–] 0 pt (edited )

That's a Joo lie. They were actually experimenting on joos and turned 6 Gorillian of them into dinosaurs that they were going to train to help terraform the moon so men could live among the stars. But all the dinosaurs wanted to do was eat all the valuables they could find. So the Nazis created a time machine and sent them all into the far distant past to protect the rest of the world. Unfortunately those dinos evolved into the modern Joo and thus the Nazis unknowingly created the very problem they were trying to save the world from. Unintended consequences.
