Humans are built so as to distinguish faces against any possible background. It's a survival mechanism. This causes us to see faces in abstract or random patterns. Example, the Face on Mars. I can't believe someone had enough free time on his hands to invert the image of the accelerator at CERN, magnify it, and search for little faces in it. If you want to find faces, you can find them everywhere. In clouds. In waves. In the grass. In rocks. In vegetables. In mold. In water stains. In potato chips. You don't need to study photos of CERN to see faces.
