I for sure saw the Sinbad genie movie. I remember it was him specifically. When he goes on about him being a black genie I thought to myself he doesn’t even look black, he looks mixed, Sinbad has that weird middle eastern looking nose. There’s no way I thought that about the guy they claim was actually in that movie. I had the Sinbad genie movie in my hands, it exists. I think the Mandela effect is a hoax and just shows we can use media to delete things from existence.

The ones where millions of people remember it the same way, which doesn’t agree with history is the mindfuck.

I don't think it's strange at all. Bernstein is the more logical spelling, based on how it's pronounced, so absent any other signaling I just imagined it that way. Add to that the fact that it's usually stylized in cursive, in which it's harder to make out the letters, it's not surprising people get it wrong. After apartheid sort of faded from memory (not completely but I mean as a current event), Mandela was less important, and so it was easy to forget he was alive. I can't keep track of every old guy in the world.
