I get that. I thought it was just me, but apparently not. I've watched pretty much every video on his channel, and I've noticed some odd things about his accent/voice; like how sometimes he speaks as though he's retarded, other times he speaks as though English is not his first language, when in other videos he speaks at a normal pace, just as fluid and naturally and correctly as any White American... But then, in the same video, he'll go right back to speaking....slowly....and...using...incorrect...grammar. ??? It's strange. Maybe he's doing it to try to get extra sympathy points or something. But I guarantee, that guy is American and can speak English perfectly. That being said, his content is so awesome I deal with it. He is one of the rare channels of this genre that uploads REAL phenomena and footage of rare natural freak occurrences that doesn't sensationalize everything and he doesn't try to make the viewer believe anything. He just presents the content and lets the audience arrive at their own conclusions, even frequently asking people to leave their opinions in the comment section. And he doesn't have ulterior motives, he's never once asked for donations and he isn't sponsored by anyone, either. So, he's alright in my opinion. Some of the best mind-blowing shit on the internet.
