I realized this was going to mess children up but I always pointed out the "social distancing" bullshit as an example. The facial expressions aspect hadn't crossed my mind.
Yeah, someone who knows child psychology told me that one because she knew the exact age range during which recognizing facial expressions is developed in the brain.
I agree about the social distancing too, we punish prisoners by putting them in isolation. People need human contact. I love how they just throw all that out the window like it doesn't matter or have consequences. Nobody wants to take responsibility for the consequences of the rules they're participating in enforcing.
