Willpower can be generated by training the emotional regulation through mindfulness meditation. This is the mental aspect of willpower. The other aspect is physical and involves eating a balanced, whole food diet, free of processed items. Additionally, employing something like yoga or cardio to boost physical energy.
Additionally, removing distractions such as video games, porn, excess youtube, phone apps...These things all dull the dopamine so badly that you won't want to do anything else.
Making a concerted effort and addressing all 3 of these things is how one can restore their willpower. Furthermore, daily practice of mindfulness meditation builds up itself and changes the brain. This will allow one to better respond to various stresses of life appropriately and responsibly.
