Nah, the biblical god was worshipped by the greeks and romans long before Jesus came. That's why they were so quick to adopt Christianity. They swindled widows of their savings and sold their homeland to the Romans for silver. This dude, their spiritual king and god's chosen messenger spoke out against them and they murdered him for it.
