it's OK as a fake though, until you notice that as it goes over the tracks the ball is also illuminating the side of the track rail opposite the ball, so it's clear that the glow is just an overlay rather than a point of light

Thanks for that link, but in all fairness, that isn't the original video I viewed and posted, which didn't indicate CGI, so you can stuff your "Jesus wept" comment.
