The narrator says when he approached the building the door leading off of the verandah was seen to be closed, he got onto the verandah at the front then when he went down the same side the door was open.

I can relate to the ghostly door opening .. in Queensland part way along the a few clicks south of the "" Boyne River Crossing, stood the now demolished Boyne Hall that had a rainwater tank at the back. One day when I stopped to get water and opened the gate to the overgrown yard, the door of the Hall which had been partly ajar slammed shut .. made me think the shade of some long forgotten deb was at hand.

When I was about 9 yo in Adelaide SA the door to an abandoned inner city building which had been locked tight every time I had been by was slightly open, it looked like it had been pulled closed but the catch had not taken properly, I gave it a shove and it swung open .. inside were bare floorboards and an empty receptionist's cubicle with no telephone.

A broad set of stairs went upwards to a bare corridor with about three doors, as I got to the top of the stairs the door nearest the steps opened and a man dressed in old fashioned circa 1959 office clothing stepped out, he looked me up and down then went back in leaving the door open, I went up the next few steps then stuck my head in to find the room entirely bare and empty .. I decamped.

In late 1981 I was back in Brisbane after about a year working on construction at the Ranger Uranium Mine at Jabiru in the NT, I needed somewhere to stay and encountered a block of flats with a vacancy sign out front .. I inquired and the man was there showed me a well presented flat the only drawback was it had a shared bathroom .. I took the flat.

When I moved in for a moment I thought there was someone standing in the corner behind a dressing table .. once more I decided it was shadows, the sightings persisted by which time I had concluded there was a ghost .. one night I woke when someone sat on the end of my bed .. I was well positioned and felt good contact when I delivered a mighty kick, the spirit never bothered me again.

So I used to go to the pub, one afternoon an Englishman I knew from work as well as down the pub was there, he had been betting on the horse races at the TAB Agency in situ and I asked "are you backing a winner," he abused sh*t out of me .. days later I saw him at work and hollered out "are you backing any winners you pommie ----."

Couple weeks later maybe in an adjacent pub I go to take a leak he was in the p--- house, in a very friendly manner he asked "is this where the big knobs hang out," I could see he wished to express remorse for his prior rudeness and said "yeah mate," that was the last time I saw him I finished up in the p--- place and waited for him to come out, he never did and there was no other way in or out.

Another bloke went in and came out I asked was there someone else in there he said it was empty, a couple days later I heard the first bloke had died by suicide about a week before .. it must have been his shade I encountered in the pub.

Happens at 2:06 into the video. The image in the post is not the door that popped open. The shifting weight of the cameraman walking by could have caused it to happen, but it did sound like the doorknob turned. However, this kind of thing would be pretty easy to fake with someone off camera.

Yeah you are right, I thought the side door thing was a little ambiguous I misinterpreted what was going on, thanks for drawing it to my attention .. "attendant, chalk in 16 brownie points for Mr BD plse."

Things like this are so easy to fake though. I tend not to believe any ghost door openings or noises because of just how simple it would be to rig and fake beforehand.
