The Earth is clearly a bowl, as opposed to flat. You can tell because that's how the oceans don't run over the sides.

Even if it were flat, as you moved towards the edges gravity would be pulling more and more sideways. The edge would be like the top of a mountain you could stand on, looking down across the flat surface below. It would be as if Earth were vertical from an edge viewpoint.

If we have an ice wall high enough to keep the oceans in, then it's not flat. You know what else has sides what keeps water in? A bowl. That or a saucer, which is just a shallow bowl. Either way, checkmate.
