What do you think it's for? It's function is not known. It's only been observed a few times

What's the signal for? It's for local use. You're not sending intergalactic messages on wifi, even if it is very good wifi. Best guess is for drones.

Drones? Best guess. We haven't found any. But they'd be too small to see from here anyway and it's not like Juno can catch any outside of pure luck

Any messages to their homeworld? No signals sent out of solar system. Doesn't look like it could if it wanted to.
