Let's look at the important numbers in Christianity.
1 God.
Husband and wife. Smallest creation.
Holy trinity. 3 denials of Jesus. Faith, hope, love. Third day.
Commandments. Virgins.
Apostles. 12 tribes.
40 days and 40 nights it rained. Jesus ascended 40 days after easter.
Hard to not see significance all around you when you've made every number under the sun significant.
Every number is significant.
Consider, beginning with 0, it is significant for obvious reasons. As is 1, and so on. Suppose then you finally hit an “insignificant” number. Then it becomes the “smallest insignificant number”. Which is, of course, significant.
I see Poal lists are as useless as Voat lists. You tried typing 1, 2, 3, 10, 12, 40, and got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
I see Poal lists are as useless as Voat lists.
Markdown, how do you fucking work???????
- 1. God.
- 2. Husband and wife. Smallest creation.
- 3. Holy trinity. 3 denials of Jesus. Faith, hope, love. Third day.
- 10. Commandments. Virgins.
- 12. Apostles. 12 tribes.
- 40. days and 40 nights it rained. Jesus ascended 40 days after easter.
That's cheating.
If the number list functionality was coded correctly, it wouldn't automatically convert a 10 to a 4. One should not have to use bullet points to get around the issue.
I'm not insulting you - Voat had the same issue, as I noted. No need to be an ass about it. Poal is probably using the same dependency.
Unless it's hard-coded, in which case, this should probably be fixed.
Jesus ascended 40 days after the Feast of First Fruits. Easter is a pagan holy day... How is it determined and calculated you might ask?
Well, Ishtar day is first day of the sun after the FULL moon following the Vernal Equinox.
That just screams idolatry, doesn't it? Knowing that idolatry is the worship of the sun, moon and stars (calendar gods)
The Pythagoreans had a significance for many of these lower numbers. Then there are the Platonic solids. I think Kabbalah ascribes a cosmic significance to all of the numbers 1-12 as well. I don't know what the parallels in the Vedas might be. They liked their astrology though too.
Who was the first to recognize the importance of 69?
Bill and Ted. The original, not the aids version.
Tesla
