Meta Why I think this sub might be cursed.

So, I've been on Poal for about two weeks now and yesterday I was offered a Mod spot on s/Strange by the admin . After a few messages were exchanged and assurances were given that there wasn't anything really involved with doing so I said "OK, sure. what the fuck, I'm in" Well now old Walt has deleted his account and beat feet to who knows where leaving me holding the bag so to speak. WTF! Am I doomed to walk this Earth until I find someone else to take this burden? I don't even know if a mod can make another mod. I get the feeling I'm doomed.

While you're cursed could you nuke the CSS? It sets the tone for low-effort posts and that fucking background image , it's a crime against humanity.

I agree that the background is obnoxious, I'm no coder though so I'd just be removing it not replacing it.

Edit I just invalidated the one line dealing with the background image. That should do it for now.
