Watch the whole thing. Initially looks like a rocket launch, but what is happening here? Very interested to hear theories.
That spiral ring seems similar to the one we saw years ago in Norway. No one ever explained what that one was either, to my knowledge.

Only thing I can think of that can make a fluffy lit up cloud with those patterns would be plasma. Ionized gas.
That rocket might be fusion based, or they're using plasma as a coolant or power transfer medium and they dumped the tank.
It's a Falcon 9 launch, at 1:35 you see cold gas thrusters reorienting the first stage after separation while the second stage is continuing to final orbit.
It's high up where there is no air resistance so the gasses go all over the place.
Right. I got to see two of them from where I live. First one I had no idea so I looked it up. Second time I was waiting for the launch.
