I think there is a difference between ghosts and poltergeist or entities that fuck with people. Ghosts being little more than psychic residue and poltergeist probably more akin to demons.

Are you a catholic or something? Ghosts seem to be there for a reason regardless of beleif. The devil has taken ofhold me in ways I cannot imagine :)

No, not Catholic. I don't really believe in a 'devil' in the traditional Christian sense. I do however believe in malicious entities that are outside of our understanding. Entities that prey on people who are in a weakened emotional or mental state.
