oh here i go on my speculation of spirits again: youre a ball of energy! like a battery! what you see and feel is based off your energy and the energy fields of people around you. if your in a bad mood, bad place or surrounded by bad people, you may start seeing shadow figures or feel an evil presence. the opposite would be true too! that guardian angel is your subconsious energy field that is hyper aware of everything around you. that voice you hear warning you to stop right before a car would have hit you is you being so self aware its almost mystical. prayer and collective conscious pools together energy from all participants and if utilized properly can create miracles. positive energy and force of will can also change your DNA if you try hard enough this is all just fun shower thoughts, dont take me too seriously. let me know what you think of the theory :3
